Christine Felgueiras, the founder of Esteem Image Consulting is multi-lingual and multi-cultural. Born in Paris, France and raised in Toronto, she has also lived in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain. Her extensive travel throughout Europe and the Americas has exposed her to a wide variety of cultures and has given her an understanding and respect for people of all nationalities and backgrounds.
Having had a successful career in sales and marketing, experience in relationship/ strategic partner management in Fortune 500 companies, and a background in fashion and international business, Christine maintains that the image you project directly affects the way people perceive and interact with you. Her honed sense of personal branding and image, combined with an intuitive talent to tailor her clients' personal style to their work environment, contributes to their professional success and first-class working relationships.
Elizabeth Felgueiras joined Esteem Image Consulting as a partner in early 2008 after completing her Image Consulting Certificate at George Brown College in Toronto.
She was born in London, England and lived in Portugal and France for a number of years before moving to Toronto. Her regard for and interest in a diverse range of cultures, lifestyles and customs led her to studies in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Ottawa.
Elizabeth worked in the IT industry in a variety of increasingly senior sales and marketing roles for 12 years. During this time she first learned of the critical connections between appearance, behaviour and communication. Properly developed, they enable you to cultivate a distinctive personal brand that will allow you to put your best look forward in every situation.
In 2003 her eldest son was born; he was joined by a younger brother in 2006. As a mother, Elizabeth understands the difficulties that come when a woman makes the transition from corporate life to life as a mom – and she has personally experienced the impact it can have on your personal style and image. Mothers face a number of challenges when attempting to maintain and develop a sense of personal style – not least of which is a tendency to neglect their own needs while they attend to the many demands of their daily lives.
Christine is a certified image consultant with the International Institute of Image Consulting (IIIC) of New York and internationally known London Image Institute, where she received instruction by industry leaders Lynne Marks and Dominique Isbecque. Christine is a member of the AICI - Association of Image Consultants International and CAWEE, the Canadian Association of Women Executives & Entrepreneurs. She gained her BA with the University of Western Ontario.
Elizabeth was inspired to become an image consultant after witnessing the empowering and transformative changes that image consulting clients experience. Not only do they develop and enhance their personal style, but they also become more confident and self-assured in their daily lives. For Elizabeth, the realization that a well-defined sense of personal style can lead to improved self-image and well-being was a revelation – one that has led her to devote her professional life to helping people achieve their true potential.
